For August we start off with a Sea Biscuit trying to escape being eaten by a large Sea Star. Other highlights are Skeleton Shrimp covered with tiny babies, a stunning red Longlure Frogfish, and a “naked” Decorator Crab. The Decorator Crab has just finished molting and therefore has no decorations. You can see the tiny velcro like hairs on the body and arms that it uses to attach living sponges and hydroids for camouflage.

Thanks a lot guys for the kind comments. Am looking forward to see what 2013 videos from the bridge will bring.
A decorator crab leaving it’s molted, what more could you ask for. Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Geez can those skeleton creatures get any smaller!! Jim you have it so clear!
Wow guys the skeleton shrimp with the babies and the decorator crab that had molted were my faves. I love to watch Jim’s video 🙂
