It was our first dive since “Isaac” came by and messed up the water. Headed East which seemed to have the cleanest water. Found an unusual bright orange thorny starfish, something I had not seen before.
It has been quite a few years since I photographed Hairy Blennies, so I took advantage of several large colorful males that were willing to pose. My favorite subject of the day was a burried Stargazer. The only thing I saw at first were a few spots and an upper lip in the sand. Didn’t see the eyes until I looked through the viewfinder. I was surprised at how big this one was as I gently lifted it out of the sand with my muck stick.
