Blue Heron Bridge – 07/26/12

Roughback Batfish

It was a Batfish kind of day at the Blue Heron Bridge.  Went to the East where the find of the day was a very large, VERY colorful Roughback Batfish (approximately 6″ long).  It posed for everyone that wanted its photo. Coaxed a large Swimming Crab from under a rock to discover it was a beautiful golden color. Got one shot of a couple of flounders that were fighting before heading back due to lack of air.

So glad to learn of your web site and blog from John Casey. Simply wonderful photos and video. Of course, I’m now too intimidated to ever post another photo anywhere. At least I’ve learned a lot going through all of yer bridge photos. 🙂

The photos are all great. I love the ones of the golden crab and the fighting flounder.
